This series of articles is meant as an overview of the most prevalent invasive plants that have found their way to this island and established themselves as a threat to native species. Almost all the plants designated as weeds have started in this manner.
This is broken down to four major areas on the island, each having its own climate and micro-climates.
Even so, one would note an overlap of the more common invasives across the island.
