zillions of them! tiny black flying bugs. just started seeing them in the past week. sprayed with a concoction of neem, dawn and canola oil. now i have a zillion little, tiny black bug bodies, with still more flying about.

We have reviewed your pics, the small bugs you are seeing are adult winged aphids. We have been unable to determine their variety. Are you able to determine what plants are being affected? More than likely if you can determine the plant, you will also find nymphs and juvenile aphids. What you are doing is correct to control them. Try to avoid a broad-spectrum insecticide it will also kill beneficial insects that help control them like lady bugs. Please is a link that offers a bit more information.
